CROESO | Black Lion Inn

The Black Lion Inn is a Grade II Listed 18th Century Country Inn situated on the A5025, just outside the village of Llanfaethlu, between Valley and Cemaes Bay on the beautiful Island of Anglesey. It is re-opening April 2019 as a daytime Cafe/Eatery, Gift Shop and B&B.

The Inn was sympathetically renovated and extended by the owners Leigh & Mari around seven years ago, but from April 2019 will be run by mother and daughter team Gwenan & Annest Rowlands.

The Inn comprises a cosy cafe/eatery and shop in the original part of the building, and a modern extension sun room with additional dining area to the rear, ideal for private functions or meetings also.

We have two B&B bedrooms and guests can enjoy a home-cooked breakfast downstairs in the sun room, whilst admiring stunning views across Anglesey with the Snowdonia Mountain range providing a magnificent backdrop.

Well-behaved dogs will be welcome in the B&B and part of the cafe area. Although the Inn is not open as a public house it does have a licence to serve bottled local beer, cider, gins and spirits with food.
